OSHA Record-Keeping Requirements

REMINDER #1

There are two classes of employers that are partially exempt from routinely keeping injury and illness records. First, employers with ten or fewer employees at all times during the previous calendar year.

Second, establishments in certain low-hazard industries are partially exempt. (Construction and Manufacturing are NOT exempt).

The 2022 OSHA 300A Form needs to be completed and posted by February 1, 2023.

Not every accident has to be on the 300 Log.  If you have any questions, let us know and we will send you simple detailed information.

Also, if you are not sure that an incident belongs on the log, contact us at [email protected] or 714.717.9389.

REMINDER #2

If you have over 20 employees and are required to complete the OSHA Recordkeeping 300 Log and 300A Form; then you must electronically report that information to Federal OSHA.

The OSHA Injury Tracking Application (ITA) has transitioned its login procedure to the public’s one account access to government applications, Login.govAll current and new account holders must connect their ITA account to a Login.gov account with the same email address to access the application for the 2023 collection of the Calendar Year 2022 Form 300A data.
